Itinerary for full-day trip from marrakech to ouarzazate and Ait-ben-Haddou
Departure early in the morning for your day trip to ouarzazate and Ait-ben-Haddou, from your accommodation in Marrakesh at 8 AM and drive towards Ouarzazate through the High Atlas and reach the Tizi N’Tichka pass, 2260 meters high, the highest road crossing in Morocco, it connects Marrakesh Saharan regions whose Ouarzazate is the crossroads.
We will stop for a visit to the famous fortified city of Ait-ben-Haddou. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Kasbah has been the backdrop for many films:

In this area, between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert, one can find several kasbahs all of the color of the sand and forming small Berber villages that take advantage of the abundance of water from the Atlas to its small crops and animals.
